The season finale of Max’s critically acclaimed medical drama The Pittresolved many of the show’s most exciting storylines, but it equally left plenty of doors open for future seasons to explore. The high-stakes finale saw Dr. Robby and his colleagues finally clock off from their chaotic shift at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, with Robby struggling to cope with the grief and guilt that he feels about the lives that he couldn’t save. Thankfully, The Pitt season 2 will be released in early 2026, so audiences won’t have to wait too long to see where the story goes from here.
