Call of Duty’s Warzone’s battle royale mode has come a long way since its 2020 debut, and there’s arguably a lot of bloat to sift through as a new player. In each iteration, folks may join the franchise with no prior Warzone (or general battle royale) experience. Designing ways for people not to be left behind isn’t always a priority for Activision.
